
Volunteers from the Shaurya Sri Dharmasthala Disaster Management Unit Vamadapadavu team carried out a cleanliness and tree planting drive at the Dandegoli Anganwadi premises in Bantwal taluk.
Following a request from Anganwadi teacher Mrs. Vanitha, volunteers from the Shaurya Team Vamadapadavu unit performed Shramadan.

Since the Anganwadi was a place where children roamed, there was a risk of problems due to unsanitary conditions, so they maintained cleanliness by clearing away unnecessary vegetation.

On this occasion, a total of 35 trees like mango, jackfruit, lemon, chickpea, papaya, coconut etc. were planted. Prakash Poojary, Master of the Vamadapadavu Samiti, Girish Nayak, Taranath, Yashodhara, volunteers of the unit were present at the Shramadaan.
